The Restaurant featuring The Other Room
Opened in the summer of 2007, this is our second restaurant, now owned by our first cook from the Ville Grille, Roger Simpson. The restaurant includes a bar and outdoor dining/beer garden. They are the only other restaurant in Lincoln to offer genuine broasted chicken.
Our third business, also the office of Ca Na Ka, Inc was opened in the summer of 2007. It is owned by Deb Michel and her sister-in-law Marna Payne. There are over 70 jars of candy you can buy by the piece! There is a piece of candy there for the kid in everyone and many cute gifts to choose from. If you need a gift and are tired of sending flowers, send a candy & gift bouquet. Sweeties is located two doors to the North of Michel's Ville Grille off of 48th & St. Paul and is open Mon-Sat from 11am-5pm. The phone number is (402) 466-0474.
This is the neighborhood where the Ville Grille and Sweeties are located. Each year they host the University Place Arts Festival in the spring and Holidays in University Place in the winter. If you support small business then our neighborhood is the place for you!
